New name and new identity

The company's new name is Niscayah. The motive is to create a more distinctive, completely independent identity. The new brand underscores the company’s position as a leading international security partner within technical security.

The background to the name change is to strengthen the company’s visibility on the security systems market. As a further step after the listing, the company will now gain an independent identity, where the future direction and the company’s strategy are determined and where the change of name is a natural component.

The new name

Niscayah is a name that is distinctive in the security industry, which is important in order to become a visible player on a fragmented market. Niscayah is intended to be perceived as a dynamic and future-orientated name, clearly signaling that the company wants to build a strong long-term brand to underpin the Group’s business model. Niscayah means secure and reliable in Sanskrit, which is the language of origin for the majority of languages currently spoken.

What does the name Niscayah embody?

The basis of the new brand lies in the company’s mission, vision, position and role as a security partner and in the company’s values.  As an international company with operations in 17 countries, the Group language is English, and consequently the fundamental terms are formulated in English.

The new logo has been created in order to represent a balance between technology, future and humanity. The box symbolizes the customer’s business or building over which Niscayah places a protective hand, while at the same time, an open hand is extended in partnership.

What does the new identity mean?

There has been a strong need to make an independent identity clear towards the company’s customers. The customers will see the company more clearly as a leading international security partner with a strong offering on a market where the majority of the competitors are small, niche, local players.

The new brand makes it easier to integrate the various business units and communicate what is unique in the offering. From having earlier used a range of brands in different countries, the Group can present uniform services and an international organization under the name Niscayah. The company takes responsibility for the entire value chain and a common brand will help emphasize the company’s unique knowledge about the customers’ business operations and risks. A more distinctive identity will make the company more visible, which is good for the customers, the business and the organization internally.
